A Botox cosmetic treatment is natural, purified protein, which in very low doses relaxes the overactive muscles that cause frown lines to form. Restylane is stabilised hyaluronic acid in the form of a crystal-clear gel, which smoothes wrinkles and folds or gives contour. The soft gel is injected into the skin, where it boosts your own supply of hyaluronic acid and plumps-out lines, giving you a more youthful appearance.

A single treatment can last between six and 12 months, depending on your lifestyle, skin type or age. Fillers give a natural look and do not affect facial expression. They are perfect for around the lip and mouth creases, eyes, brow and deep lines.

A very popular Restylane treatment is ‘Paris Lips’. The aim is to produce a more pouting, fuller, defined, sensual mouth. Restylane is injected into the lip line to make the mouth more defined, and the body of the lip is 'plumped up' to make it fuller and more appealing. This particular procedure is best carried out under local anaesthetic as it can be a bit painful, as the lips are highly sensitive.
